Fuel Injection systems, including their electronic, have their own forum with the Electrical forums. (VW grouping, not ours!) Please READ the instructions of that forum before posting any questions about FI equipped vehicles. Do NOT post any Fuel Injection or associated FI running problems here. Exception: Diesels; they are basically a 2-pump delivery system.

This forum for wiring questions unique to the Westies and campers, including all factory systems NOT found on all models of VW vans. This is the GAS Fuel Injection forum. (Diesel remains in Fuel & Ignition Forum.) We acknowledge VW's grouping system with Electonics leaves something to be desired. The Fuel Injection system covers the fuel & air feed of all non-carburated vehicles. The "Engine Mgmt. Electronics" part refers only to the FI controling features -- coil, plugs, & ignition harnesses will be found in the Fuel & Ignition forum, as will all questions related to fuel delivery UP TO entering the Fuel Injection system. This forum covers all input sensors and controllers to the Fuel Injection system and the running problems associated with them. Please pre-diagnose your symptoms sufficient to select the proper topic to add to, using the "Post Reply" feature.
